Life goal: Walk alongside your companions

Gotham's Red Shadow: Lupin Red

A gold-embossed calling card drifts down from above into the hands of Gotham's various villains.

"I will take the treasures you hold dear. Yours truly, Lupin Red."

At first, people assume it's just the ravings of another lunatic, until the Penguin is found hanging upside down from the top of a clock tower. His businesses never recover, and people finally realize the calling card was no joke.

Compared with the carefree, stylish life of a phantom thief at night, Lupin Red himself, otherwise known as Kairi Yano, an obscure freshman at Gotham University, doesn't have it so easy. To collect more treasures, he has to work both day and night... Wait, why is his model student roommate also up in the middle of the night?

The Crimson Saber

While Lupin Red roams free in Gotham, a shop called Kamiyama Wonder Bookstore quietly opens in a corner of Metropolis. Its sudden opening doesn't attract anyone's attention.

Around the same time, Superman, also known as Clark Kent, reports something in the Daily Planet that he shouldn't have, and is temporarily suspended. Needing to make a living, Clark ends up at this bookstore...

"Let's read a book." The novelist looks at his visitor with a smile that is warm, yet distant.

*Heroes always have something in common.
