Wind was a thief in the city, an orphan from the slums, born with no one to rely on, sensitive and stubborn. Snow was a prince of the castle, the only son of the border lord, wild and unruly from childhood.
They met at a ball, where Wind stole a noblewoman’s jewelry and Snow caught him.
From then on, Wind became Snow’s seventh guard.
