New Game Plus Player Gets Hooked on Raising Cats

"The afterlife is a sandbox."

"We're all players."

If players defeat the final boss, the evil god Lofiel, they can return to reality and be reborn.

The strongest player, Qin Zhuzhao, had cleared the main storyline and was getting ready to challenge the final boss. But the moment they met, the evil god sent him back to the starting village, turning his max-level account into a level-zero alt.

Qin Zhuzhao: What kind of decent person deletes their save file on New Game Plus? :)

Evil god: He said I'm good. How thoughtful of him ^ ^

Back in the starting village, Qin Zhuzhao found a "cat" by the roadside.

This magical kitty could turn into a beautiful young man who would cosplay as a warm body pillow, or shrink into a tiny figurine that could be tucked into a pocket and fondled at leisure. Qin Zhuzhao was very pleased.

A few months later, the kitty transformed into the evil god.

Qin Zhuzhao: ...Where's my cat? Where's that huge cat of mine?

Later, when Qin Zhuzhao caught the evil god sneaking into his bed for the nth time, he gritted his teeth and reminded him:

"Lord Evil God, you're only pretending to be a cat. You're not an actual cat."

Lofiel blinked innocently. "I'm only borrowing half your bed. Don't be so stingy."

"Besides..." The god gracefully conjured a tail and wrapped it around Qin Zhuzhao. "You clearly enjoy it, don't you?"

Qin Zhuzhao: ...

Qin Zhuzhao is the pursuer, and the evil god is the recipient. Happy ending.
