After her parents die, Yuji Itadori's older sister, Itadori Yuya, takes on the burden of supporting their family. She works part-time at a general-purpose odd-jobs shop, helps the International Gourmet Organization search for delicacies, and also works as a three-star gourmet hunter, occasionally taking bounty jobs.
Itadori Yuya has known since childhood how delicious curses can be. But as a gourmet hunter, pursuing the ultimate taste is a basic requirement.
So she went to the famous Little Chef, Master Liu, to learn how to cook. As an added bonus, she got incredibly lucky and drew the Seven-Star Knife. From then on, she traveled the world with her pressure cooker, rice cooker, and barbecue grill.
