Ji He often dreams about the past.
The sky over the junkyard planet was a stifling gray-black. Now and then, flashes of reflected light from metal scraps glimmered in the thick clouds. The air was filled with the smell of motor oil, burning plastic, and rotting matter, making it hard to breathe and nearly sickening.
He stood in a sheltered ravine and looked up at the pale-skinned girl atop the towering heap of garbage.
Her silver bob rippled in the wind, shimmering with a delicate, cool sheen. When she turned her head slightly, her full, bright lychee-shaped eyes held pale gray pupils.
"Ji He," she called to him, her voice gentle and serene. "Don't be afraid. We'll meet again."
Ji He knew she wouldn't lie to him. The one thing he hadn't expected was that he would have to wait twelve years.
Their first meeting was her reunion, and their reunion was her first meeting.

A mysterious energy suddenly appeared in the F337 star system, turning everyone into deformed mutants. The mutants attacked humans and seized planets, and existing human technology could barely harm them.
The mutants spread from the F star system to the C star system. Just as they were about to invade the capital planet, three meteorites suddenly descended upon it.
"Nuwa"
"Eve"
"Prometheus"
The three meteorites brought a mysterious power. From then on, humans could absorb this power to fight and manifest mental forms, allowing them to inflict visible damage on the mutant creatures.
Those who gained this power were called Sentinels.
However, the power altered Sentinels and made them highly unstable, prone to going berserk. No effective way of controlling them had been found.
That was until a scientist discovered a substance inside the meteorite "Nuwa" that could soothe a Sentinel's rampaging mental energy.
People didn't yet know that their long-awaited Guides would soon appear in this world.

This is a story about a stray dog searching for his star.
