On his way home from school, An Xi found a notebook called the Book of Life and Death.
Then his ordinary life was turned upside down.
Suddenly, one day, a series of bizarre deaths began occurring all across the country.
An old man died of blood loss, his body covered in different bite and claw marks.
A man was beaten to death by the air on camera.
A woman on a tower crane unfastened her own safety harness and fell to her death in a bizarre accident.
A butcher used a boning knife to flay himself alive.
[Rule One of the Book of Life and Death: The more tainted a soul is, the richer its nourishment.]
Theme: There is no pure land in this world. It all depends on your heart.
