Riddle's Observation Diary (HP)

In July 1936, a blond French boy named Leo moved to England with his parents.

At the age of twenty-five, he destroyed all his records from before he turned eighteen for the first time.

At thirty, he destroyed every trace of his years as a student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for the second time.

Two months before he passed away, his daughter found half a sheet of paper on her father's desk, covered in a hurried scrawl and these heartfelt words: "The pain in your soul calls out to me, tearing my heart apart. I follow its voice, step by step, and the instant our eyes meet, I am utterly captivated."

Two months later, Leo died. While sorting through his belongings, his family discovered that the piece of paper his youngest daughter had mentioned was nowhere to be found.

The adults always dismissed it as a child's lie, until You-Know-Who rose again, and until You-Know-Who was defeated once more.

"...The pain in your soul calls out to me, tearing my heart apart. I follow its voice, step by step, and the instant our eyes meet, I am utterly captivated."

"You know, I love you as faithfully as I love life itself."

An observation and analysis of Riddle's school days.

Told in diary form.
