Who Says Rikkai's Senior Mouri Can't Be Trusted?

[Extra chapters are being posted. Anti-piracy ratio: 50%. Anti-piracy period: ten days.] Thank you for supporting the official release and for trying to help my next novel find readers! [This is the blurb for a novel coming soon.] Though he occasionally slept through class, Mouri's biology grades were decent. He was pretty sure people didn't lay eggs. So could someone explain what this persimmon-red egg was, doing on his bed when he woke up? Thirteen-year-old Mouri had just moved to Kanagawa Prefecture. Today, once again, he thought that the Kanto region was bizarre. People here apparently laid eggs. Bonus scene AU "You're saying you're the person I want to be?" Mouri had been planning to slack off, but after being forcibly given a makeover, he'd ended up on the tennis court. He didn't believe a word from this being who called itself a "Guardian Character." "How could the person I want to be possibly be this hardworking?!" The cat even had a well-reasoned argument. Then, after being forced to train all day, Mouri belatedly realized it wasn't over yet. Why did the person he wanted to be not only love training, but also get along with everyone so effortlessly, for crying out loud?! Let him go slack off already! He absolutely did not want to spend his time mixing with people from Kanto while speaking in that weird Kansai accent! Reading Guide 1. Ochi x Mouri, one-on-one, no other couples. 2. The main cast of Shugo Chara! are older here. Everyone is a middle schooler or older. 3. The story mainly follows The Prince of Tennis. 4. That's about it. If you have no problem with that, read on. [This is the blurb for this novel.] The year Mouri decided to retire due to health problems, the 1.9-meter-tall red cat woke up to find himself several years in the past, now a short-legged second-year middle schooler barely 1.5 meters tall. His parents' marriage had fallen apart, and after their divorce, he'd just transferred from Shitenhoji in Osaka to Rikkai University Affiliated Middle School in Kanagawa with his father. His older siblings had been worried about their little brother after his transfer. Then one day, they suddenly realized the gloomy little cat had become cheerful. Older siblings: Oh wow. No idea what happened, but this is great. Then, one weekend, Mouri was supposedly going to Tokyo at his cousin's invitation. In reality, he was going there to find someone. That's when he suddenly realized that, compared to before, his reborn world seemed to have gained some monsters and demons. But none of that was a problem for Mouri, because Tsuki-san was still here. Bonus scene AU At the Kaihara Festival one year, everyone unexpectedly found out that Ochi from neighboring Hyotei and their own Mouri had gotten together long ago. Rikkai's regulars: Somehow, we're not surprised our senior got swept off his feet. JPG "If it's Ochi, he's more reliable than anyone else, right?" Tane: "Why do you think Ochi is reliable when he made his move on little Mouri while he was only in his second year of middle school?" Later, Hyotei happened to schedule a training camp with Rikkai. The Hyotei team: (The atmosphere feels kind of weird.) Oshitari (suspicious again): Atobe, are you sure you don't have a grudge against Rikkai? Atobe: ...What unglamorous nonsense are you talking about now? Rikkai members: They're both captains of Hyotei. Why can't we redirect our grudge? JPG This novel is also known as The 1.9-Meter Red Cat and His Personal 2.2-Meter Cat Tree's Daily Life / The King of Rikkai: We Have Reliable Seniors Both On and Off Campus / Redirecting Grudges Is Bad for the Friendship Between Our Schools Who says Senior Mouri isn't a reliable upperclassman? Kitty: I am super reliable! Ochi: Mm. Super reliable. Reading Guide: 1. The main focus is tennis, but the background includes elements from Detective Conan and Jujutsu Kaisen. 2. Tsukasa and Mouri are both reborn, and Rikkai's 16+3 stays intact. No character bashing, no school bashing, and no bashing of other national teams. 3. This was written before the Tsukasa-Mouri doubles match in the U-17 World Cup final. Some developments differing from the original are to be expected! I'll try to revise things after the doubles match in the Tsukasa-Mouri final is over. 4. At heart, this is a story about a reliable senior and an even more reliable senior. 5. I really like writing things that become very Shitenhoji in a completely serious way. (Strikethrough) Reader comments are open. Just bookmark the novel!
