A Mid-Autumn Festival gift, Xuan Zi.
I'm sorry, but I still can't write a story where the two of them are sickeningly sweet. Maybe I just can't get past how much I favor these characters. I want them, as I write them, to stay as true to their original personalities as possible.
So this is a clean story. In fact, you couldn't even really say they have feelings for each other. Still, I hope to portray the way their hearts connect. Maybe that sounds overly sentimental. In short, I didn't want to write a saccharine romance, so I ended up with this fanfic that doesn't quite feel like a danmei story.
Please understand that I haven't given them an incredibly happy, perfectly satisfying ending. And to make matters worse, it's been a long time since I finished playing Chinese Paladin 4, so I don't remember the plot details very well. I've changed some details and dialogue on my own, and I hope everyone reading will forgive me.
