[Gong with dissociative identities x shou who pretends to have no emotions]
Ever since Ruan Qiuhong was diagnosed with a mental illness and sent to a psychiatric hospital, where he started receiving government-funded meals in a different sense, he began to zone out and decided to live like a paramecium.
Every day, he'd tease his roommate Yan Shuli, play chess with the guys in the next ward, or stand by the window alone all afternoon.
Then one day, he woke up to find himself caught up in a game of inexplicable rules and supernatural horrors, with comments constantly popping up before his eyes.
Most importantly, he could no longer sit back and live like a paramecium with a clear conscience.
First instance: Feihua No. 1 High School
Ruan Qiuhong returned to his middle school days. The other players had either balanced stats or exceptional intelligence and logical reasoning, while nearly all of Ruan Qiuhong's points were in fighting-related attributes...
While the comments were almost all guessing he'd become cannon fodder, he resolutely set out on the path to becoming the instance boss.
Second instance: Homecoming
After clearing the first instance and returning to reality, Ruan Qiuhong discovered that Yan Shuli hadn't come back. So, to find him, Ruan Qiuhong returned to the game world.
This time, he became a sent-down youth, and the instance boss immediately launched into a boss recruitment drive for him.
By the end of their conversation, he had become an art teacher at a rural school, a total beauty who was always falling ill.
Third instance: Beyond the Dream
Fourth instance: Return to the World of the Living
A few little thoughts:
1. The third and fourth instances are already planned out. I didn't include descriptions because they involve important setting details, and it's hard to explain the general plot in a blurb.
The character cards came from a kind-hearted user on Bishui Jiangting.
2. The point of view has nothing to do with whether I favor the gong or shou. It only depends on who knows what. I'm not writing for any other reason than to give my pent-up urge to express myself somewhere to go.
The shou has relatively little screen time in the early plot and mainly acts behind the scenes. He's not frail, and he doesn't wheeze after every few steps.
3. There's one BL secondary couple, Ruan Wen x Wen Yue. They have scattered appearances, but not many scenes.
Both the main and secondary couples are strictly one-on-one and faithful in body and mind. There are no 2v1 or 1v2 relationships.
The gong has a secondary personality, but it isn't caused by a pathological condition. It's more like multiple souls sharing one body.
4. This world includes a lot of fantasy elements. The main idea is to mix together a whole bunch of genres.
5. The protagonists are ordinary people at heart, with no golden finger. The comments mainly help lighten the mood.
6. One last plug for my new novel: My Junior Brother Has Stopped Cultivating the Heartless Dao [Book Transmigration]
Theme: After struggling with myself for so long, I'd rather be myself
Qiu: Why are you discriminating against mental illness? Take the knife back!
I don't feel like there's a big gap.
Qiu: I knew I wouldn't be able to do it. Could you please give me a break?
Qiu: Why don't I have a system? You all have it and I want it too [Joker]
Ah ah ah, I misunderstood. I saw the book, and then I saw the meat-eating guy. I thought it wasn't the meat-eating guy 💛 [melted]
I almost thought these two people really existed in history, so I even searched for them 😂
Very good, I haven't read it for a few days and I stocked up on a few chapters [Sunglasses]
Promise me, it won't end in an anticlimax
Why are you still thinking about eating? This kid is so hungry.
Autumn: Why are there so many Riddlers?
