Murmured whispers drift through the hazy white fog. Twelve enormous eyes hang upside down in the sky. Ruined wreckage is rekindled by raging flames, and the obsessions of the dead once more become the breath of souls.
Family, friends, lovers: all the departed return like the tides, and all who return eventually engulf everything like the tides. If a single moment could become eternity, why not let time stand still, its gears rusting shut?
Aboard the lost Xianzhou, countless shadows of those who died long ago slowly awaken. What kind of Xianzhou is reflected in the eyes of these short-lived people, who belonged to a time from long, long, long ago?
In barren Tsygonia, the angelic race descends amid a night of slaughter and torrential rain. Do they bring the word of the gods? Do they bring rain and hope? What do they praise? What do they devour? If you cover your eyes and cast aside every question in your heart, can you embrace it wholeheartedly, embrace "happiness" with all your heart?
People below the earth, people above it: have you ever seen the sun? They say it burns hot enough to dispel all darkness and cold, and all it takes is a negligible price. So run toward it, toward that glimpse of sunlight. Give it everything you've got, and run toward the light and warmth of the future.
A tiny screen holds humanity's boundless imagination. You happily lose yourself in a game, enjoying your long yet fleeting summer vacation.
[Warning!]
There will be all kinds of points of view, and the protagonist may be more of a supporting character.
The story leans toward chaotic evil. Nothing that happens should come as a surprise.
This isn't a traditional Lovecraftian system. It just borrows the setting, and all the eldritch gods and such are made up.
I'll start with the Xianzhou. If I get stuck, I might switch to another world.
If you like it, please leave comments! Comments might not make the author update more, but they'll help keep the author from dropping the story. After all, I'm writing this for love.
I'll add more if I think of anything.
