A group-beloved tragedy.
“Shinya will reach the pinnacle of the world when he’s eighteen.”
Coach Kumo once said that.
But Shinya died on the eve of his eighteenth birthday.
Messages of congratulations kept coming in on his phone, but the hands that had spiked countless volleyballs on the court could no longer lift even a few grams.
When his teammates came laughing and chatting to his doorstep in the first rays of dawn,
all they found was a cold corpse.
“Um... Happy New Year, everyone.”
The protagonist is a third-year student at Itachiyama.
Thank you all for your support (bows). The story is posted and complete, with occasional bonus chapters.
The story won’t dwell on his appearance. His affection starts at maximum, but Shinya will reject everyone equally!
In Shinya’s own words:
“Human bonds will wrap themselves around my heart. I don’t want it to beat anymore.”
You could say he’s a genius destined to die young. Because of his parents’ unusual circumstances, Heaven gave him beautiful looks and extraordinary talent to make up for it. But God loved this child too much to let him play outside for long, so He called him home early.
Description of Miyashita Shinya: Fluffy brown hair (it must feel wonderful to touch). His eyes are pale, like honey diluted with water, yet they make you curious about the “sweetness” within them. He looks like someone who needs to be taken care of, but in fact he’s the nurturing, mom-friend type. He’s 185 centimeters tall and loves all beautiful things. In this case, that means he’s always positive, optimistic, cheerful, and striving upward.
“Sanemi, plant flowers all over my grave someday.”
“You’re allergic to pollen.”
“That’s why I mean after I’m dead.”
Theme: I want the first breeze of early spring, the first raindrop of early summer, the first fallen leaf of early autumn, and the first snowflake of winter
