Something went wrong while you were playing a full-dive game, and now you can't get home.
Looking at the devastation all around you, you have only one thought:
"I just want to go home."
Because you have the trait of immortality, you take out the only phone you have left and despairingly accept reality.
Once you have brought the place you're in to the point where it can sail among the stars, you ask them to help you find your home.
Watching them leave, all you want is still to go home and pet your cat.
After the starships you sent out go missing, you decide you can't just sit around and wait. You build a ship on the spot and head beyond the sea of stars, risking life and limb to find those starships.
The only reason is...
You just want to go home. Following them is at least a chance.
Much later, to avoid raising suspicions that you had undergone repeated resurrections from the dead, you stubbornly stay aboard the starship now known as the Xianzhou and refuse to leave. Because you can't seem to stop yourself from getting involved, you're nominated as a general.
Of course, you refuse.
So you decide to escape. How could you possibly find your way home when you're busy as a general?
The day before you escape, the Cloud Knights find you and escort you back.
Your only thought is still:
"I just want to go home. Stop keeping me from finding my way back."
But the next day, the Xianzhou is swallowed by a living planet, and you come back to life once more.
This time, you have gained an "Abundance" attribute.
The Xianzhou Alliance sets its sights on you, and you become a wanted target aboard the Xianzhou.
Facing a horde of Cloud Knights, you burst into tears:
"What's wrong with just wanting to go home?!"
P.S.:
1. The protagonist has stayed on various Xianzhou ships, starting with the ancient kingdom.
2. The timeline is disjointed, and there are many personal interpretations. The story's own logic takes precedence.
3. Some details will be changed to fit the story's setting.
