On Cats Playing Volleyball

Blurb

According to rumors circulating at various schools, Nekoma has a player who appears and disappears like a ghost. He has never played in an official match, but according to gossip from the other members of the volleyball team, he has never lost a practice match.

Then they finally meet him in person: a pale face, long, slender limbs, and a scarf he often wears. He looks incredibly frail.

Just when everyone thinks it is all just a rumor,

the blue-haired boy steps onto the court. His legs tense, he leaps, and the ball comes down, hurtling toward the opposing court at a speed no one can follow. As everyone stares in stunned disbelief, cracks spread across the court where the ball has struck.

One shot makes a name for him. The winner rules. From then on, the title of king of the court follows him into every match, until he conquers the nation.

After graduating from junior high, Nekozawa Tetsuya gets tricked into attending Tokyo's Nekoma High School by an online gaming friend, on the outcome of a single game. He joins the volleyball team.

With terrifying skill, overwhelming explosiveness, and devastating attack power, Nekoma's volleyball team gains a prodigious outside hitter capable of leading them to victory at the Spring High tournament.
