I Somehow Got in Touch with My Ancestor

After transmigrating, she was left with nothing but four bare walls and a jade pendant. Wang Xie looked at the pendant and decided to pawn it for some cash. Then a clear young voice came from inside it: “Hello? Is anyone there? Is there a deity? You’re not a ghost, are you?” ...If she were a ghost, she’d climb right out of the pendant and scare him half to death on the spot! · When she learned that the person on the other end of the pendant was her ancestor from two hundred years ago, Wang Xie didn’t think much of it. She assumed he was some naive young noble who’d grown up in luxury. Her ancestor found all sorts of ways to send her money, and Wang Xie opened up to him, sharing the ideals she kept deep in her heart. She said she dreamed of a world where everyone was equal, where children were cared for, the elderly were supported, the sick could receive treatment, and everyone had a home. But that wasn’t possible here, which was a real shame. Her ancestor wasn’t convinced. He said he wanted to give it a try. Maybe it could be done. At the time, Wang Xie merely smiled and changed the subject. Later, she heard her ancestor’s name in someone else’s account: it was the name of the founding emperor. What a coincidence. Her ancestor had exactly the same name as the founding emperor. Only after she herself became emperor and finally had time to open those thick history books did she learn that he had tried, and succeeded. “In the tenth year of Gaozu’s reign, free clinics and schools were established, along with public halls and homes for the poor. Corrupt practices were purged, and peace reigned across the land, with calm seas and clear skies.” He had heard her describe the world she dreamed of, become an emperor praised by generations to come, and left her all the treasures in his imperial tomb, along with a letter: “Look, this is the money I saved for you. What do you think? Happy?” But now she was the ruler of the land. How could she still be so poor that she had to dig through the earth for treasure, in such a wretched state? “You should keep all this,” Wang Xie said. “Otherwise, future archaeologists might think I robbed your tomb clean.” Inspired by a line on a cultural relic: “Hello, gentlemen of the future!” The male lead is the cute one. The heroine loves teasing him. Theme: Supporting each other
