[My new novel, The World Falls Apart, and the Otome Game's Male Lead Comes to Me, is coming in May! A terrifying infinite-flow story. The blurb is at the bottom. Please add it to your collection ❤️]
· Paragraph comments are open. 50% anti-piracy, 24 hours
· Traditional puzzle-solving infinite flow. The heroine has a golden finger, but it's not much. The writing is mainly horror and suspense, with some goofy, unhinged humor on the side.
Li Leyi is an NPC in the horror game Grudge.
She specializes in getting herself killed and stepping on every landmine, giving players clues about what not to do in each instance. The more gruesome her death is in an instance, the higher the commission she earns after leaving it.
She feels no pain and fears no death. In one bizarre, terrifying instance after another, she's managed to do the one thing you could never do in real life: stroll around as she pleases.
If she dies, just haul her away.
The sound of opera singing drifts through an apartment building late at night, scaring the residents into hiding under their blankets and trembling. Let her go see who's singing.
A cursed notebook? Sign your name first.
A "mother and father" in a remote village act strangely and even sleep in coffins at night? Naturally, she has to knock on their coffin lids and see if they're really dead.
Li Leyi sighs. There aren't many NPCs as dedicated as her these days.
But when she turns around to keep trying to get herself killed, she runs into an obstacle: a "helpful passerby" in the instance.
The "helpful passerby" kicks her back from the brink of death, then goes all the way and sees the job through.
Worried that Li Leyi might run into danger again in the instance, the "helpful passerby" turns into her "personal bodyguard" and safely escorts her out.
Li Leyi: ...
It's fine. If it doesn't work this time, surely it'll work next time.
Li Leyi begins a life of clearing every instance with a 100% success rate.
Only belatedly does Li Leyi realize something's off. Why are certain NPCs in the instances looking at her more and more strangely?
You're not after me, are you?!
A timid but dedicated cannon-fodder NPC x a younger, fatherly, sickly beauty
A story about "You love courting death, but I refuse to let you court death."
*The plot leans toward Chinese-style horror. If you're easily scared, it's best to read during the day.
*The male lead has an original body and split-off versions. His original body is a younger, fatherly, sickly beauty who appears in the second instance. (P.S. The male lead's original body will get stronger and stronger later on.)
*One-on-one, one-on-one, emphatically one-on-one!
The World Falls Apart, and the Otome Game's Male Lead Comes to Me, a terrifying infinite-flow story
Gloomy, deranged nonhuman x barely-alive office worker
He Yun thinks her friend has been acting a little strange lately.
Mostly, she sleeps during the day but is wide awake at midnight, crawling around on the bedroom floor.
He Yun is woken from a peaceful sleep by the noise and is about to ask what's going on when a cold hand suddenly covers her mouth.
Her friend's voice whispers right by her ear: "Shh... Don't make a sound... Don't let them know we've woken up..."
The bad news: The world has fallen apart. The virtual and real worlds have become intertwined, and ghosts and monsters that once existed only in horror movies, games, and urban legends have arrived in reality.
He Yun is dragged into all kinds of supernatural incidents. Instead of wondering whether she should quit her job tomorrow, she now wonders whether she'll still be alive tomorrow.
The good news: The male lead from the horror otome game He Yun has played for five years has come out of the game, too.
The man is handsome, gentle, and considerate in every way, the perfect boyfriend who'd do anything for her.
It's just that every night, his gaze turns particularly intense and heated when he looks at He Yun.
He Yun: ...
The horror otome game she plays may call itself a horror game, but it's actually infamous for its steamy content. Every card illustration is wildly suggestive.
How is she supposed to explain to her cybernetic, genetically modified boyfriend that those are just virtual data, not real!!!
He Yun decides to play dumb and pretend she can't see the desire practically spilling from the man's eyes.
What He Yun doesn't know is that after she falls asleep, countless hands slowly reach out from the darkness behind her and hold her tight. Their whispered murmurs weave into an impenetrable web, wrapping around her without a single gap.
"You're mine, you're mine, you're mine, you're mine, you're mine, you're mine, you're mine, you're mine, you're mine, you're mine, you're mine, you're mine, you're mine, you're mine, you're mine, you're mine, you're mine, you're mine, you're mine, you're mine..."
Premise: May even the weak have the strength to fight back
I didn't understand this last copy a bit, I felt like it wasn't explained clearly.
Speculation: Zhang Si is very talented in dancing but his family background is average. Lan Yin's family is powerful and jealous of Zhang Si. They may have killed Zhang Si intentionally or unintentionally. Grandma 204's grandson witnessed it but took hush money to study abroad.
At the end of the story, I just felt that the last copy was a bit rushed. By the way, a side update
So Le Yi is actually in the dungeon, the original version, and He Xi should have come to save her from the real world.
Hahahaha [Caigou] I love watching Shura Field
Did Hexi move in? Looking forward to meeting you!
Looking forward to pre-collection!! Chinese horror is the most exciting!!
I love it so much that I cried. I really like the horror atmosphere created. The Chinese horror is really well written. Compared with the first self-study book in the evening, I feel that the writing has improved a lot. I really like it [picking my brain]
Come on, madam, when I read the book, I felt that the horror atmosphere in each copy was very real (it has been a long time since I felt scared after reading a horror novel). I am particularly looking forward to my wife's follow-up work 🐰
I haven't read these books for a long time because of stress. I was shocked when I just received the lucky draw prize. When I opened it, I found that the author actually won 70% of the lucky draw. Thank you so much 😭 I will come back to read it when I feel better.
