Name: [Tang Dynasty] I Arrived Before My Father Founded the Empire
Author: Winter's Warm Song

Synopsis

After spending her previous life worrying herself sick over her eccentric parents, she transmigrates as Li Yuan's eldest legitimate daughter, the first emperor of the Tang Dynasty.

Li Xiuning: My father founded an empire, and my younger brother is an emperor for the ages. I'm set! Why not just take it easy?

That is, until she meets young Li Shimin...

The little dumpling with a lisp is frightened into tears by a pony. He misses the target with his arrows, then blushes bright red. "Sister... Shimin didn't mean to. QAQ"

Li Xiuning frowns as one of the pastries in her hand falls to the ground.

Something's not right. She should take another look.

And then there's Li Jiancheng, the future Tang crown prince (a chauvinist), Li Yuanji, the future Prince of Qi (a habitual tattletale), sickly Li Xuanba (a shut-in version of Lin Daiyu), her carefree father, and her mother, who devotes herself to prayer...

Li Xiuning: Is this... a record of an aristocratic clan in decline?

Chai Shao suddenly leans down to whisper in her ear. "My lady, do you still remember promising your husband that we'd travel the land together? The carriage and horses are ready. When will you keep your promise?"

Li Xiuning springs to her feet, her eyes crinkling with a smile. "Let's go right now!"

Li Shimin, the sister-protecting fanatic + Jiancheng, the stubborn but softhearted crown prince + Chai Shao, a steady gentleman in public and a scheming dog of a husband in private. An alternate history where everyone survives.

Reader's note:

Most of the story follows history, with a few changes for the sake of the plot.

No one is vilified. I'll do my best to keep things light and everyday. The villains are either making trouble or on their way to making trouble.

I'm only an amateur and am still learning, so please give me a chance and some encouragement. You're welcome to discuss the plot in the comments. If the story isn't to your taste, consider writing your own version rather than sharpening your knives for the author. Thank you, thank you.

P.S. Feel free to discuss things among yourselves. I'll quietly observe. For the sake of this novel, long live the completed ending!
