How Did I Have a Baby with My Archrival?

Jiang Yuan won a hundred yuan on a scratch-off ticket. The next day, that same lucky wind swept him seven years into the future.

When he opened his eyes, he was on the set of a parenting variety show. A soft, chubby little boy blinked up at him and called him "Daddy."

Before he could process the fact that he was a straight man who had given birth to a child, he was told that the child's other father was Lu Yibai, his sworn enemy from high school, with whom he had always been at odds.

Jiang Yuan hated Lu Yibai's pretentious solemnity and called him a self-righteous phony. Lu Yibai disliked Jiang Yuan's arrogance and conceit just as much. In reality, they both regarded the other as the rival they respected most. The more they got on each other's nerves, the more fiercely they competed in secret.

Online, people said Jiang Yuan, whose brief flash of fame had long since faded, was stubbornly taking his kid on a variety show to make a comeback by using the child. Jiang Yuan had no idea which rumors were true.

The thing he cared about most right now was: how on earth do you look after a child??

Who would have thought that the school bully who once ruled the campus would end up mixing baby formula overnight?

In the days before the livestream, Jiang Yuan tried hard to adjust and cultivate the image of a loving father. It didn't last long. His patience ran out, and his true nature came out.

"You don't want to eat something this good? Then give it to me."

"If you don't go to sleep, the big bad wolf will come get you."

"Crying? You think I can't cry too? Waaah..."

The internet erupted in criticism, condemning Jiang Yuan as unfit to be a father.

The child's other father, rumored to be watching from the sidelines, finally couldn't take it anymore and showed up.

Jiang Yuan was lounging lazily in a reclining chair, with the child sitting on the floor.

He turned and saw Lu Yibai, his flamboyant red hair blazing as he walked toward him. Jiang Yuan's eyes widened in shock.

What was going on?

Where was the cool, abstinent, low-key, reserved top student?

Why had Lu Yibai become just like the person Jiang Yuan used to be?

Jiang Yuan: I must be having a nightmare. (Pinches his philtrum.)
