Wen Ren Sheng is a dragon, and has been at odds with the Phoenix clan since birth. But while recuperating on Mount Yue, he once raised a little phoenix that he'd brought back from the underworld. The little phoenix died later.
When Wen Ren Sheng went down the mountain, he met a young Taoist priest. They traveled together, catching ghosts and demons along the way, and Wen Ren Sheng fell for him. But the Taoist priest died.
On a mission, Wen Ren Sheng met a colleague and fell in love at first sight. His colleague was wonderful, though his attitude was a little strange. Still, Wen Ren Sheng managed to win him over.
Wen Ren Sheng knows that the phoenix was Dongfang Yu, the Taoist priest was Dongfang Yu, and the colleague was Dongfang Yu, too. After all their twists and turns, it was Dongfang Yu he liked, and Dongfang Yu he loved even more. He also knows that Dongfang Yu will always come back.
Dongfang Yu died. He was a "phoenix" who had accidentally taken shape when baleful energy encountered a golden phoenix feather. A dragon found him and took him in. The dragon treated him well, but he was born frail and passed away peacefully.
Dongfang Yu came back to life, and met that dragon again while he was out catching demons. So Dongfang Yu claimed to be a Taoist priest, and they reunited. He liked the dragon, but he was a coward and didn't dare confess.
Dongfang Yu died again. This time it wasn't because he was born frail, but because an accident happened.
Dongfang Yu hadn't expected to come back to life again. Well, the dragon didn't remember him. No matter, if he'd forgotten, then he'd forgo...?! But what was with this guy who started showing off and saying he wanted to court him right away?
Oh, right. That dragon's name was Wen Ren Sheng. Dongfang Yu liked Wen Ren Sheng, and loved him, too.
Honestly, what a mess. But no matter what, as long as two hopeless romantics pursue each other, they'll always end up together. Their fates are written in the stars!
Another version of the blurb:
Click to read "The Importance of Visiting Graves":
My lover, dead for over a thousand years, climbed out of his coffin to find me. Then I, with amnesia, fell in love with him at first sight again. Is this because I haven't visited his grave in all these years?
Who cares? Toss out the overthinking and get to it.
I like him. I love him. I'll make him mine.
Irresponsible, carefree top * steady, reserved bottom

This is an urban-life story about spirits and monsters, a tale of magical realism on an outrageous scale. Expect all kinds of demons and strange beings, along with plenty of original worldbuilding.
No pregnancy! Ensemble cast in the background! Third person!
If you have strong pairing preferences, this may not be for you. There is no question of favoring one character or the other, just a story about a couple falling in love. It's told from the top's perspective because Dongfang Yu's point of view makes it difficult to develop the story.
Also known as "My Boyfriend, Dead for a Thousand Years, Has Risen from the Grave" and "Near Death, I Sat Up in Shock: Turns Out I Was the Scumbag."

Shengsheng: I remembered it all and wanted to be autistic. Yuzai: Shengsheng doesn't look quite right. Xiaojiu, let me share something with you. Today we have a study test, um, community worker certificate. I went to help direct the traffic, and then a candidate got off the car and asked: Do I need to bring my ID card for the test? I didn't know that I didn't bring it, so I asked her husband to take her back to get it (the school had been broadcasting that she needed to bring her ID card and other precautions when entering the examination room. The candidate got off the car and heard it. It was also the first time I learned that you can be half an hour late after the exam started.) This candidate rushed back to school three minutes before the exam started. My thoughts at the time were that I was so drunk that there were still people who didn't know that they needed to bring their ID cards to the exam.
