Su Yubai is the head of the Western Depot, commander of the imperial guards, spymaster, and the emperor's lover. He had the emperor's favor, but one day he got jealous and threw a tantrum, going so far as to run away from home.

Who would have guessed that the emperor would send a bodyguard with Su Yubai's exact face to keep an eye on him? The man does exactly as he's told: if he's told to go east, he won't go west; if he's told to chase a dog, he won't catch a chicken. He never talks back, and he's as cold as a corpse. A puppy who comes right to his door? Might as well enjoy it.
