Reborn, I Got Tangled Up with an S-Rank Guide

[S-rank Guide Xi Muye x A-rank Sentinel Chu Fei] [Cold, sharp-tongued, and a hypocrite with double standards Guide x Steady, reserved, nurturing-dad-type Sentinel]

The day after dying and being reborn following his former Guide's betrayal, Xi Muye, an S-rank Guide from Research Institute Three, stood before Chu Fei and declared that he wanted to be his exclusive Guide.

Chu Fei didn't refuse. From then on, a high-quality, clingy partner who was both book-smart and battle-ready was always at his side. The two began taking on missions together, heading to spatial rifts to exterminate alien beasts.

As they spent time together, however, Chu Fei gradually discovered the secrets Xi Muye had been hiding. Everything this Guide did left him baffled.

"What do I have to do to protect you?"

"Don't leave me again."

The inexplicable words left him confused, and Xi Muye's stolen kisses while he slept left his brain completely blank.

He began quietly investigating this strange Guide, only to uncover the insane plans behind Training Center SII and Research Institute Three.

Missing ordinary people, inhumane experiments on living subjects, humanoid mutated beasts inside the spatial rifts of Zone F... As the mystery behind it all was revealed, Xi Muye's special identity also became clear.

"Who are you, really?" Chu Fei asked, his voice trembling as he looked at the Xi Muye before him, both unfamiliar and familiar.

"Does it matter? All you need to know is that in this life, I'll be your one and only Guide." Xi Muye didn't answer. In his heart, Chu Fei had always been the only light in this dark lair.
