After I Transmigrated to Stardew Valley, I Eloped with an NPC

By day, Li Zhi works herself to the bone at her company under a 996 schedule. By night, under the alias Lizhi, she transmigrates into the game's Stardew Valley, where she owns a huge farm. Looking at the barren land overrun with weeds, Li Zhi resolves to make something big of herself.

So by day, Li Zhi adds mods to the game on her computer, and by night, she goes to test these "research results" that have fallen from the sky in person. Then she gets her hands on a tractor with horsepower to spare, and the town begins to echo with the rumbling of earthmoving equipment every night.

One early morning, all the residents of Pelican Town stare at one another, packed into the town square. Only then do they realize the whole town has been plowed flat. The culprit is none other than that strange new girl who recently moved in. She is driving a hulking machine toward Robin's house, an inscrutable smile flickering across her face.

Fortunately, the game System has an auto-repair function, and Pelican Town is back to normal the next morning. The whole farce becomes a collective nightmare that leaves every NPC shaken.

Only Sebastian knows that what happened last night was no dream. When he wakes up, ten pieces of quartz and ten tear crystals are laid out neatly at the foot of his bed. Beneath the glittering ore is a little note with a crooked smiley face drawn on it.

Sebastian rushes to his computer desk without changing expression and messages his friend "Counting Money at Home": "I'm in love."

Packed into the subway first thing in the morning, Li Zhi hears that her online friend, a confirmed lifelong bachelor she has never met, is now dating someone. Life feels a little bleaker. As expected, the only joy in life is farming.

"I'm going to find her."

"Oh." Li Zhi starts thinking about which plot of land to plow with her tractor tonight.

"Tonight."

"Great." Li Zhi picks a location in her head: today, she'll plow near the Wizard's house.

When she gets home that evening, Li Zhi spots a familiar face waiting outside her door. A pair of melancholy purple eyes look up at her, full of hope. Startled, Li Zhi takes half a step back.

"Oh no, I've taken this too far."

1. My playtime in the game is currently only 150+ hours, so there may be some inaccuracies in the NPC characterizations. Please feel free to point them out.

3. Romance-focused, one-on-one, but with plenty of love-triangle drama. A long story with lots of everyday life, and I'll keep writing until the story is complete.
