Bro, Need to Blow Off Some Steam? [Bounty Hunter]

To make a living, Shou accepted an invitation from a bounty-hunting squad at a bar to head into Beast Grinding Forest and hunt S+-rank ferocious beasts.

Shou was a loner, invisible in a squad of more than forty people. Even the frank and easygoing captain, Gong, rarely came over to talk to him.

Those peaceful days were pretty nice, until one hunt when Captain Gong stayed behind to cover the others and got surrounded by a pack of wolves. Shou stuck his nose where it didn't belong and pulled him out of trouble.

At death's door, Gong stared at Shou's cold face, splattered with wolf blood, and let out a whistle without thinking.

From then on, a 1.92-meter-tall human attachment came along with Shou everywhere.

Gong loved draping an arm over Shou's shoulder, his big hand hanging in front of Shou's chest as he gestured while chatting with others.

Heavy, and impossible to push away.

Gong also loved crowding around Shou at mealtimes. Ignoring his teammates' teasing, he'd cut the most tender meat for Shou and pile it up until his bowl was full.

Clingy, and more than Shou could eat.

Once, during a hunt, Shou couldn't stand being covered in grime and went alone to bathe in a secluded pool in the forest. Gong followed him and watched for ages, then casually helped wash his clothes.

He washed them really thoroughly. He didn't even spare Shou's underwear.

Completely unnecessary, and seriously messed up.

Shou couldn't chase him off or beat him into submission (his skin was too thick). Helpless, Shou could only put up with him in silence.

And the longer he put up with him, the more he got used to it.

One time, the squad drank deer-blood wine. In the middle of the night, the whole group was overcome by its effects, and everyone got worked up. Shou was no exception.

He wanted to slip deep into the forest and take care of things by himself. But who should follow him again but that shameless man, his eyes hazy and his breath hot.

"Hey, buddy, wanna blow off some steam?"
