Yin Shu accidentally transmigrated into a book as the supporting male character, the third male lead who loves the shou without being loved back and pursues him with burning passion.
In the original story, the shou is a pampered young master who was switched at birth as a child. The cannon-fodder third male lead is a poor little thing rejected by both sets of parents. He falls for the shou at first sight and pursues him by force, only to be whisked off to prison in the end.
The main gong, meanwhile, repeatedly stands in front of the shou, sheltering him from the wind and rain, and giving his pursuers a beating along the way. He offers the shou his sincere heart, and the shou is deeply moved. They finally join hands and live happily together for the rest of their lives.
Yin Shu, who only wants to avoid the plot:
"As if I wanted to show up." Yin Shu gritted his teeth as he watched the person ahead walking away, then abruptly raised his hand and punched the air.
As the third male lead, naturally, he has fewer appearances than the first and second male leads. He has to swoop in and loosen the soil when the shou is upset, acting as a mediator between the main couple and making the most of his supporting role.
The shou is upset, so Yin Shu has to offer him a shoulder to cry on. What kind of nonsense is that!
When he saw the main couple get together, Yin Shu waved a little handkerchief and wiped at the nonexistent tears on his face. "Goodbye, and good riddance."
Lu Cong'an is cool and aloof, and never likes to talk much with people. Yet there's one person who is always bouncing around and impossible to ignore.
Happy ending, both leads are each other's first and only. A plotless, anything-goes story born from a flight of fancy. Author's setting: Same-sex marriage is legal.
