[The main story is complete. This is my first book, and the writing is a little rough around the edges. Buy chapters as you like~]
[Reader's guide]
Realistic 3D mapping engineer x tourism company CEO
Two-faced career woman x sharp-tongued, soft-hearted lovestruck CEO
*One-on-one romance / two strong leads / both virgins / happy ending
*Northeastern China setting.
*The heroine is strong, eats a lot, looks like a sweet girl, and loves being absurd. The male lead is a CEO from Northeast China, speaks with only a slight accent, says things he doesn't mean, and is good at convincing himself of things.
*Update schedule: I work a regular office-drone schedule, five days on and two days off. I revise and stockpile chapters on weekends.
*I'm always writing ahead and will never abandon the book. I may make small edits on weekends. Let's just do it.
[Blurb 1:]
The most mortifying moments in 3D mapping engineer Yang Song's career all happened in the same year.
The first time, she sent a "Your mom's here" sticker to her boss's WeChat three times in a row, which indirectly got her banished to Northeast China.
No big deal. Just social death.
The second time, she mistook a client collecting samples in the snow for a homeless villager, praised the man to his face, and gave him a good-person card.
No big deal. Just a misunderstanding.
After she went to great lengths to curry favor with the client, he gradually went from a barking husky to a docile golden retriever.
But the third time, she couldn't take it anymore.
It seemed the client... had fallen for her and was determined to make their relationship official.
She kept a calm face, but her toes had already dug out the Saint Sophia Cathedral, and her heart had made it all the way to Moscow.
"Please don't come any closer... In our line of work, falling in love with a client is the biggest taboo."
[Blurb 2]
Before his engagement, Yin Wei used work as an excuse to escape Jiangcheng and return to Northeast China, where he planned to develop the tourism industry and fulfill his grandfather's unfulfilled wish.
It was his first time back in eight years. In his long-missed hometown, the north wind blew, the grass grew wild, and roe deer tore across the snow.
He greedily took in everything he hadn't seen in so long:
The fine snow, the black soil, the red sausages, Tiexi.
And the girl who'd followed him around, bantering and fooling around, climbing high and reaching the summit, and helping him come up with ideas for the project.
The ice in his world slowly melted, gathering into a warm, babbling stream. By the time he came to his senses, it had already surged into a vast river and sea.
Fortunately, fortunately.
His hometown and the one he loved
would one day return to his side.
[Content warnings]
Key points:
1. Neither lead has ever been in a relationship (fist bump). The second female lead and the male lead have no romantic subplot, and the male lead and the second male lead are enemies. Both are merely examples of sophisticated self-interest in everyday life.
2. The male lead doesn't treat the heroine very well at first, but he'll eventually win himself over. His accent is light (first, he left Northeast China at a young age; second, in quite a few parts of Northeast China, people really do speak with an accent close to standard Mandarin). They'll get together only after they overcome their prejudices, which will be explained later.
3. The author loves women, loves women, loves women. Important things deserve to be said three times. The difficulties shown in the story are only a small part of the hardships faced by people in the surveying and mapping industry. Please point out any professional errors. The heroine won't suffer in the romance, and there are no plotlines in which she is abused.
3. The writing is average overall. This is a newbie author's first book. Please point out any issues kindly. Thank you, everyone!
Theme: Love the place you choose to stand, and the land beneath your feet.
As it stands now, if I were the female lead, I would never see the male lead again for several lifetimes after finishing the project.
I feel like the male protagonist's self-defeating speed is a little faster.
Presumably this is the second male lead who is as refined and egoistic as the male lead.
A wise man never falls in love, build a beautiful China
? Why did you rape your ex-girlfriend? Will they still be treated as adultery after they break up?
Can't you open your mouth when your mouth is covered? It's normal for a girl to be on guard when being followed late at night. There's nothing wrong with being pampered or not. . .
What a great leader. The person who called me on holidays was really sick.
Is this the boss? Hahahahaha
You are sick, the atmosphere is here ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
I didn't expect to see Wandashan here, and I had a subtle feeling of an acquaintance on TV. My baby's second-stage milk powder drinks Wandashan, and the good guy is really gaining weight after drinking it.
