After the Detective Conan World Loaded a Lovecraftian Plugin

Question: How can you make a scientific worldview seem a little more normal?

Kurokawa Toru's answer: Add a Lovecraftian plugin to the Conan-style world.

Only a comparison can show the difference. Then people will realize that the original world was actually quite peaceful.

Kurokawa Toru has a special constitution and has been forced to live in a Lovecraftian world for years. He lives by the principle that if he can't get himself killed, he might as well go wild, battling mysterious supernatural creatures for hundreds of rounds and making a complete mess of his life.

Then one day, he meets a vengeful spirit named Midorikawa Kei.

His combat power levels up, his mental state stabilizes, and at last he can enjoy clearing dungeons.

The only problem is that this vengeful spirit seems to have a lot of friends.

Kurokawa Toru watches as Mr. Amuro, Mr. Moroboshi, and a certain silver-haired assassin gaze at him with inscrutable expressions, and silently complains, “Midorikawa-san, you sure have a lot of friends.”

Even though the other person is using his body, he feels like a third party caught in the middle of all these love triangles.

But watching the drama up close is really fun.

P.S. 1. This story is mostly plot, with a moderate amount of romance, a little indescribable horror, and occasional comedy.

2. Under certain circumstances, the protagonist will enter dungeons. Some are Lovecraftian scenarios adapted from the original, and some are OOC scenarios. The original characters will be affected and corrupted (but recover).

I want to write their surprised expressions when they remember what happened in the dungeons (gestures).

3. The deceased members of the police academy group, in an abnormal state, will appear in the dungeon after next.

4. There will be platonic interactions between original characters, but no side couples.

5. The appeal is beautiful, powerful, and tragic characters. There will be some descriptions of injuries.

6. The protagonist cannot die.

7. This story does not use a systematic Cthulhu mythos (there are many changes to the source material).

8. I like revising the prose, but I won't change the plot, mostly just fixing typos and adjusting descriptions.

9. Happy ending.
