**Blurb is provisional and may get some minor revisions. I'll try to post 2-4 times a week.
Interstellar peace? What's that, can you eat it? (munch munch) As long as your Galactic Baseballer goes live with today's meal buddy, everything will be fine!
Also known as "The Trailblazer's Meals on Stream," shortened to "Stream Meals" (not really)
Blurb:
The Trailblazer considers herself a strong person with incredible self-control. She's also someone with principles.
But if the offer is good enough, she can do without principles.
The data bank contains an old saying, supposedly from the Xianzhou: "If you walk by the river often enough, you'll eventually get your shoes wet."
"It describes your situation perfectly, Stelle," Dan Heng remarked.
The Galactic Baseballer, lured into a ditch by a text from a stranger, had no comeback. All she could do was quietly accept Dan Heng's lecture.
She was the Nameless of the Astral Express, the renowned Trailblazer, the Grand Manager of Penacony. And yet she'd fallen into a trap set by a shady streaming platform and been forced to work for them. If she didn't meet the platform's streaming quotas, all the pretty trash she'd collected would be confiscated!
"...That's it?" Dan Heng didn't understand. "Why not let them take it?"
Stelle shook her head without a moment's hesitation. "Trash is meant to be protected!"
"See? We told you she wouldn't listen..."
"So," Caelus picked up, "this is a ridiculous story about the Galactic Baseballer blazing trails everywhere, just to find a meal buddy to stream with."
"Passenger Caelus, please don't act like this has nothing to do with you, peppy!"
Beep beep--
[New stage objective unlocked]
[Please draw your next streaming meal buddy]
Beep beep beep--Ding! Thunk!
[Meal buddy locked. Navigation starting]
At some point, a new entry about "streaming" appeared under the Trailblaze section of the Astral Express data bank. Whenever companions the Trailblazer had met on her journeys visited the Express, they would request access to the entry and pore over it for several system hours.
To complete the data bank records, Dan Heng randomly interviewed some of the visitors who were still strangers to him.
A bespectacled grade-schooler, shorter than even a Pepeshi but radiating an astonishing presence: "Sister Stelle is so amazing! She didn't flinch in front of vicious criminals, and took down two thugs with one punch!"
A hedgehog-haired interviewee in a blue suit, carrying a strange little badge: "Miss Stelle is a reliable witness. She helped the defense win an acquittal in spectacular fashion!"
A strange pink-haired interviewee with two unusual hair clips and who couldn't even be bothered to open their mouth to speak: "I can't figure out what she's thinking, but the guy with the dragon horns on his head shouldn't think everyone else is strange."
A black-haired boy with glasses, a slightly gloomy air, and a talking cat on his back: "She doesn't have an awakened Persona, but she can understand Morgana. That's amazing... Ah, so can you two."
A blond young man who looked kind and honest: "Stelle? She's so helpful! When Marcille, Chilchuck, and the others and I were worrying about how to find more people to help us eat my sister, she gave us so much help! Oh, right, I hear you have these things called Fragmentum monsters. She said she'd take me to eat one next time... I mean, to see one!"
The startled little dragon held back the urge to kick them all out.
Isn't your stream supposed to be about eating? What does any of this have to do with anything?!
Warnings:
The protagonist is Stelle. Stelle and Caelus both exist in this setting, but Caelus only appears occasionally.
There probably won't be a pairing in the main story. If I manage to finish it, any pairing will be in the extras.
Mostly daily life, with an episodic format. I'll write whatever comes to mind and try to avoid plotlines that require researching canon details and settings. Any out-of-character behavior is an authorial liberty, so please don't make a big deal out of it.
The characters mentioned in the blurb might not all appear. It mostly depends on who the author likes.
Theme: How can you blaze trails without eating your fill?
What fun, hahahaha, how come there are Unstoppable and Porter in the copy, hahahaha
