A warning: an old-school, melodramatic, sweet romance is coming!
Isn't this what love is all about?
An affection that sprouts by accident and eventually grows into genuine love. Isn't that Shakespeare's specialty?
-
After falling ill and passing out, Yukimura wakes up in a parallel world where he doesn't exist, as Chika Miyau, a girl in Class 2-A at Hyotei Academy.
A cold father, a sharp-tongued mother, a pair of genius siblings, and her own broken mediocrity.
What! As a tragic supporting heroine, she can only return if she successfully wins over the male lead? You've got the wrong person!
Wait, you mean the male lead is... Atobe?
-
Atobe finds himself suddenly having an incredibly lifelike dream that plays out like a TV series.
In the dream, he falls for a girl with tremendous tennis talent. She accompanies him as they win the first national championship in Hyotei's history.
He confesses to her in a vast rose garden. They embrace aboard a hot-air balloon rising at dawn in Turkey, and kiss amid the New Year's countdown bells on London Bridge.
They are a deeply devoted couple.
At the end of the story, the girl falls into his arms to save him, then disappears from his dreams forever.
-
"It's you, isn't it?"
"Hahahaha! How could this Atobe possibly like a boy? That's absurd!"
"Seiichi! No!"
-
Though they don't know which god's magic potion has played this trick on reality and dreams,
at the moment the spell is broken, Atobe thinks,
he might actually have fallen in love with him.
