He studied hard, and even remembered to recite his books when he went to the latrine. Everyone in Yunshi thought their future ruler was thoroughly dependable.
But everything changed after he met Shiyu, the prince of a neighboring kingdom.
Shiyu might have been called a prince, but he was lower than a prison worm. Everyone in the realm knew him as a despicable wretch, someone anyone could spit on and kick.
