* A gentle, sensitive, melancholy hottie x a bright, sunny sweetheart
Ling Shuwen signed up for swimming lessons, only to find that her coach was an old friend she'd lost touch with years ago. They used to be incredibly close, making the situation a little awkward. Thinking she was being tactful, she tried to break the ice. "Long time no see. Now I have to pay extra just to get you. Haha."
She was the only one who laughed.
Zhou Zhenglin got up from a lounge chair and walked over to her, grinning teasingly. "After all these years, you're still just as... funny."

Dylan, a coach at the club, had a mysterious past, but he was so handsome it was dazzling. Other coaches were chosen by clients, but he was the one who chose his clients.
He kept his hair in a buzz cut, rarely smiled, and didn't say much. There was nothing cute about him, and his coworkers all wanted to knock this aloof beauty off his pedestal.
Then, on the day Ling Shuwen showed up at the club, he was chatting in the lobby when he caught sight of her asking the receptionist about lessons.
Zhou Zhenglin messaged his best friend and the club's owner, Ji Chen: "Do me a favor and put her in my class."
Ji Chen discreetly sized up the woman in front of him: a dance teacher with long legs, a slender waist, and an otherworldly air. The best of the best. He'd thought his best friend wasn't interested in women, but apparently he'd been waiting for this!
Ji Chen, who was usually at Zhou Zhenglin's mercy, decided to make him work for it.
"No problem. But you have to sing 'Meow Meow Meow.'"
Zhou Zhenglin:
"...Fine."

After her confession went nowhere, Ling Shuwen announced that she was leaving to seek true happiness.
Zhou Zhenglin held down her luggage and raised an eyebrow, looking flustered. "Who was it that kept saying, 'What you believe is your destiny'?"
Ling Shuwen nodded as if she agreed. "I believe that, sure. But I never said you were my destiny!" She raised an eyebrow and glared right back at him.
"But you are mine."
Head bowed, hands fidgeting as she listened to him praise her for ages, Ling Shuwen couldn't stop her shoulders from shaking. She looked up and smiled slyly.
"Oh? And you said you didn't like me~"
A few notes:
1. First love for both, and each other's one and only.
2. Childhood sweethearts reunited after years apart.
3. Swimming coach, second-generation entrepreneur x dance teacher.
4. Acts like he can't stand her but is a softie underneath x a flirt who doesn't realize she's flirting.
Theme: Enjoy the present

2025.8.2 It's a happy ending. When I saw Ling and Zhou finally together, the little fireworks in my heart went off. Haha, I didn't feel much, but I did. I hope that in the future I will be as hopeful and optimistic about life as Ling and have the courage to express love to the people I like like Zhou (although the process has some twists and turns. Live well everyone. Finally, I wish you and me good luck. Ling Zhou is happy.
The flowers are sprinkled at the end, the young couple in the extra episode are so sweet!!
