A seemingly aloof, moonlight-like beauty who is actually a sunny, cheerful puppy-like shou x a once obedient, brother-obsessed wolfdog who grows into a coy, deranged, fatherly gong
# An age-gap romance that gives you both older-top and younger-top flavors
After successfully completing the mission of redeeming the protagonist, Fang Sinian, in the book, Liu Tingmian used his death to leave that world.
However, less than half a month after he left, Fang Sinian's descent into darkness pushed the world to the brink of collapse.
Having already completed his mission, Liu Tingmian had no choice but to return to the original book's world for aftercare.
But his identity this time was a little strange.
He had become his own substitute.
Fang Sinian: "All you need to do is play him well. Don't think about anything else."
Liu Tingmian: "...This brat has no respect for his elders!"
He'd always treated Fang Sinian like a younger brother, and now this little menace wanted to turn the tables on him!
But when Liu Tingmian looked at Fang Sinian, who was now taller and older than him, and far more composed than before, he suddenly couldn't find the words.
Where was his big, adorable, lively little brother? Who was this gloomy, deranged man who wanted to turn the tables on him?!
He had died so horribly back then that Liu Tingmian didn't dare reveal his identity to Fang Sinian. All he could do was "clumsily" play his own substitute.
He didn't dare act too much like himself, afraid he'd be recognized.
After testing Fang Sinian several times, Liu Tingmian grew bolder. He simply revealed his true self, racing headlong from his former aloof, moonlight-like persona toward becoming a happy little puppy.
He'd gotten so lively. Surely Fang Sinian wouldn't recognize him now!
Seeing Fang Sinian gradually regain his mental stability, Liu Tingmian was reluctant to leave, but still decided to return and file his mission report. Yet when he prepared to make his escape, Fang Sinian caught him.
The man stroked his wrist and asked in an unhurried voice, "Brother, where are you trying to go this time?"
Liu Tingmian: !!!
When had Fang Sinian recognized him?
Three years after Liu Tingmian's death, Fang Sinian finally decided to put an end to his agonizing, restless hallucinations.
He knew perfectly well that he was merely a character in a book, and that Liu Tingmian had only been a task-taker sent to redeem him.
But he still missed Liu Tingmian terribly.
Until the day they met again.
Liu Tingmian, now called Liu Tingmian again, had simply changed his name and appearance before returning to Fang Sinian.
Even with a strange face, Fang Sinian recognized him at first sight.
"This time, I've caught you, Brother."
Premise: I love you
