You're a Saniwa. One day, while carrying out a mission, you find a beautiful, fluffy white cat that was supposed to have died in the course of this world's history.
The cat is weak, but it hasn't met its destined end.
You take the cat in. Its soul is shattered, but it has powerful spiritual energy and might become a mighty Saniwa someday. For now, though, it's just a frail little cat that remembers nothing.
As you tend to its soul, you catch fragments of broken speech and tentatively call out the name you heard: "Satoru?" The cat twitches its ears in response.
The good news is, you have a cat. The bad news is, cats are willful creatures.
As an adventurous cat, Satoru always sneaks out to explore when the sword men go on missions. They say cats have nine lives. You suspect your cat has spent eight of them on its talent for sneaking away.
So you end up maintaining history while searching for your cat all over the place.

One day, while searching for your adventurous cat yet again, you arrive in a strange world.
You have just exorcised a monster born from humanity's negative emotions and are about to coax your dignified white cat down from a tree when you meet a white-haired man whose soul resembles your cat's.
Looking at the two identical souls, you glance at the cat in your arms and realize, a little belatedly, "So your surname is Gojo."
The cat looks at you, confused, and sweetly meows at you, the one who has finally called it by its full name.

Twenty-nine-year-old Gojo Satoru died in the great battle. After his body had been used up, his shattered soul did not disappear. Instead, it transformed into a pure-white kitten.
It remembers nothing except its own name.
As a curious cat, Satoru loves following the sword men to explore different worlds.
Until one day, it arrives in a jujutsu world where everyone is safe and sound. It sees the trio, none of whom ever went rogue, and students who attend school as usual.
The cat suddenly understands: Ah, so worlds like this really exist.
The cat gazes at this perfectly happy world. When the familiar figure who always worries about it appears, the cat jumps down without a second thought and lands in its Saniwa's arms.
A little cat with no memories doesn't understand complicated things. It only knows that, even if it loves going on adventures, it will always stay by its Saniwa's side.
