A High School Boy, Yet Married to an S-Rank Female Zerg

[Sweet Romance, 1v1, It's been too long since I last wrote, so this is a writing warm-up. Pure sweetness, no angst]

Bai Lan had just received his acceptance letter from Tsinghua University when the Sweet Couple System 99 bundled him off to the insect world. He was made to take the place of the original villainous male insect, Xilan, and continue living as him. His task was to marry the antagonist general and make him happy, so the antagonist wouldn't go and ruin the plans of the protagonist couple, who had big things to do.

Xilan: ?

Xilan was utterly shocked: Me?

When he asked why, System 99 twiddled its fingers, looking very embarrassed. "Oh, Host, there are hardly any normal men around these days. To protect the love between those sweet couples, we had no choice but to target a high school boy. Don't worry, time in your world is paused, so you don't have to do the task. It's just that I'll die right in front of you if you don't."

Given the state of the world, Xilan eventually gave in. He said solemnly, "I won't just hand over my feelings to anyone."

Xilan stressed, "I'll only be brothers with the antagonist."

System 99 nodded enthusiastically. "Sure, sure. Brotherly love is great, too."

And so, as the story unfolded, Xilan got married on the second day after transmigrating. His spouse was an exceptionally outstanding noble S-rank military female, with countless military achievements and a remarkable record that was simply staggering. But Xilan didn't know that the S-rank female insect antagonist had been dismissed after a serious mistake. His reproductive pouch was damaged, leaving him unable to bear offspring, and he desperately needed spiritual soothing to survive. He was hastily fitted with a suppressor, locked in an iron cage, and made into Xilan's female attendant, humiliated and wretched.

Xilan was soon flustered by his spouse's mental instability. In desperation, he offered his own blood. After being fed a mouthful of pheromones, the antagonist female insect finally regained some of his senses. Seeing Xilan's polite, gentle manner, he rasped, "Male Lord."

Xilan looked at him instinctively.

The next second, the innocent high school boy who had decided to become brothers with the antagonist blushed to the roots of his ears.

He slowly sat upright, then lowered his head and helped the female insect lying against him sit up, as if they were a newlywed couple bowing to each other.

"Mm, I'm here."

This is wonderful. I'm going to have a spouse ^^

[Reading Guide]

1. A simple, sweet little story. Both are pure, devoted only to each other, and fall in love at first sight from the start. Neither is put through angst. This is pure love and salvation, sweet all the way through until you readers get sick of it. There are side characters in the story, but whatever their relationships may be, I'll write them as pure love. If that's not for you, please don't read.

2. The seme dotes on the shou, and the shou loves the seme. The shou has a bit of a teasing streak, and both of them know what they're doing. The shou's characterization takes a little longer to develop. The seme is good at providing emotional support, and their love is mutual and unwavering. Do not switch or reverse the pairing. Comments using derogatory terms for either role will be deleted.

This is a fictional setting with no connection to reality. Please don't read it as a reflection of the real world. The protagonists uphold freedom and equality. They're all good kids.

I have a dog I've kept for six years.

His name is Song Congxue. I met him when I was eighteen. After that birthday party, I picked Song Congxue up off the roadside when he was at the lowest point in his life.

Back then, he was huddled miserably in the shadows at a street corner, with a clear handprint on his face and stacks of scattered documents on the ground. His handsome, mature face was streaked with vulnerable tears. When he saw me, he only lowered his eyes in silence, shrinking back as if he wanted to melt into the darkness.

I'd never seen a man like him before, so I rolled down the car window and asked, rather wickedly, if he wanted to be my dog.

He agreed.

And so I got a thirty-year-old dog.

But he clearly didn't know how to be a dog, so I taught him how to wag his tail for me, how to please me, and how to ask for affection. He learned very well. I was satisfied, and we carried on like that.

Only, after six years, an emotion he couldn't put into words gradually appeared in his eyes whenever he looked at me.

He thought he was getting old. His tail wagged more slowly, and he started nervously watching my expression, believing that this six-year-long financial arrangement would soon end because he was growing old and losing his looks.

But it won't.

He will always be my dog.

3. The couple is inseparable. No switching or reversing, no favoritism. I just earnestly write about the couple. Do not switch or reverse the pairing. Do not use derogatory terms for either role, especially the shou. Don't call him names or I'll delete your comment.
