A Well-Matched Couple

A Match of Equals

Xie Nan once believed that the sea breeze had brought him a love that was wholeheartedly returned.

He offered up the sincere heart and wealth of a rich young master, falling into the gentle web Meng Xun had woven. He thought the poor boy's obsession was deep love, until he awoke in the dead of night beside a man who shared his bed but not his dreams.

He had never truly known this man. What passed for love was merely the scheming of a social climber trying to latch onto a wealthy family, deceiving him for his money and body, one step at a time.

And then there was Zhou Qimo, who had watched over him for more than a decade, the man who controlled him in the name of responsibility. Only when Xie Nan hit rock bottom did Zhou Qimo reveal his true feelings:

That so-called sense of responsibility had always been possessiveness buried deep in his heart, too shameful to speak aloud.

One false love, one awakening. The privileged young master Xie Nan's journey of growth begins with his innocence shattered and ends with gentle salvation.

He finally learns that the true meaning of a match of equals isn't matching family backgrounds, but two people facing each other with undivided sincerity.
