The Butterfly of the Spring God

[Marriage before love / love after drugging / gorgeous, extremely shy girl VS vicious, temperamental heir who rules a powerful family]

[The blurb isn't written yet, so this is just a rough idea: a story about a breathtakingly beautiful, shy girl who secretly marries a vicious, temperamental family patriarch.]

At a business dinner, someone deliberately put Jiang Xiyue on the spot during a game of Truth or Dare, asking if she'd ever liked someone so much that she couldn't pull herself away.

Everyone laughed after the question, waiting to see how this famous schemer would wriggle out of a lie in front of the prestigious, ill-tempered Shen Gongzi.

Jiang Xiyue looked at Shen Chaowen, seated at the head of the table, and answered openly.

Yes. She liked Shen Chaowen.

She wasn't lying.

The first time she saw Shen Chaowen, she thought she was looking at the butterfly god of spring.

Everyone laughed at Jiang Xiyue, saying she'd schemed and struggled to climb into Shen Chaowen's good graces. Her ambition to seize her chance and enter the circle of the powerful was practically spilling all over the floor. It was only a matter of time before Young Master Shen dumped her.

But outsiders didn't know that she'd truly schemed and struggled, and that she truly coveted Shen Chaowen.

She had loved this man for years, and taken one step at a time until she finally reached his side.

Shen Chaowen's couple story from Green Tea. The blurb isn't finished yet. I'll add the rest before the story starts. It might feature a groveling ex trying to win her back, but I'm not sure.

Theme: Those who came before once shone a light on me; now I shine it for those who come after.
