After Meeting My Ex at Our Online-Dating Meetup

For the generous prize money in the national tournament for the full-dive online game Fantasy Realm, Shu Yihan agreed to team up with the top-ranked girl on her friends list and enter the competition together.

The rules required teammates to reach a relationship intimacy score of over 10,000 before the tournament began.

The two rarely had time to play online together, so they couldn't grind dungeons to raise their intimacy. Their only option was to become an in-game couple and boost their score by completing the couple-exclusive daily quests.

Things like kissing, hugging, and lifting each other up could earn as much intimacy as someone else got from grinding dungeons all day.

This method raised their intimacy quickly and efficiently. They hit it off immediately and were rolling around together in the game's cottage that very day, unlocking even more intimate couple quests.

It was all the fault of the full-sensory gear for feeling so real. After half a month of rapidly raising their intimacy this way, Shu Yihan, a single woman well past her prime, was practically burning with pent-up desire.

After her partner dropped several hints, both subtle and not so subtle, Shu Yihan finally decided to meet her in person.

On the day they met, she saw the other woman leaning against her hotel-room door, looking at her coldly. "Sister Shu, do you remember how long it's been since we last saw each other?"

Oh. So the girl she'd pinned against a wall and kissed until she was dazed seven years ago had come back to collect her debt.

Shu Yihan turned and ran, but the other woman grabbed her and pulled her into the room.

Afterward, the culprit who had left her aching from head to toe actually leaned close to her ear and teased, "Sis, remember to take responsibility for me this time."

Shu Yihan: "..."
