The male lead's name has been changed by one character to Yanshu. The name comes from the Book of Songs, from Cai Shu: "They came in throngs, yet were not at ease; the Son of Heaven bestowed them." Here, it means "ease" or "comfort," complementing the female lead's name, Ning.

The outline is unchanged, but the narrative pacing has been adjusted. Please let me know if you spot anything that could be improved.

Bin Youwei grew up wealthy and had never known hardship, so she was rather spoiled.

Her family had high hopes for her and always wanted to teach her to work hard and endure hardship. They even sent her to an outdoor training camp.

Bin Youwei suffered terribly, but luckily she downloaded a novel called How to Become a Champion before setting out.

In the novel, the protagonist, Yuan Ye, was a national swimmer who narrowly missed out on becoming an Olympic champion. He later became a coach at a men's sports college. His student, Yi Jiangling, came from a poor family and stumbled into the swimming team by accident while trying to make a living.

The sports college was full of hidden talent. Every coach had once been a world champion, and every athlete was an exceptional prospect chosen from their province or city.

Only Yi Jiangling and Yuan Ye seemed out of place: one came from a poor, isolated village and knew little about the world, while the other's life had hit rock bottom after his disappointing performance on the field.

They suffered endless bullying. From having nothing to do with each other to becoming kindred spirits, they saved and inspired each other. In the end, one became a legendary swimmer, and the other a world-famous coach.

The original story was an inspirational novel with no romance, but Bin Youwei managed to ship every possible couple:

Yuan Ye x Yi Jiangling, the badminton doubles pair Qiu Sulin x Qi Ming, and men's volleyball starters Xie Shendong x Wei Chuyang...

She shipped them so hard she got nosebleeds, and that night she had a dream.

In the dream, she became the dorm supervisor at the men's sports college in the novel, using her position to set up all the couples she shipped.

Yue Linzhu was about to lose his mind!

Just because he was born afraid of water and couldn't swim, the old man had dumped him in this godforsaken place for outdoor training.

There was no signal in the deep mountains, and his secretly written novel, How to Become a Champion, was about to go on hiatus. He had no choice but to do everything he could to escape.

After finally sneaking out to the only internet cafe around, he discovered that his novel hadn't gone on hiatus at all. It had even gotten a huge update!

But what was this plot...

[Yi Jiangling has just finished swimming 1,500 meters and climbed out of the pool. Yuan Ye takes a towel and dries him off, slowly moving it down from his bulging chest muscles to his firm abdomen...]

[Yi Jiangling stands obediently and lets Yuan Ye do as he pleases, his ears turning red all the way to the nape of his neck.]

Yue Linzhu couldn't help cursing aloud.

What the hell, some account thief stole my login and is writing trash under my name?

What kind of nonsense is this?

Yuan Ye and Yi Jiangling are hooking up, and Qiu Sulin and Qi Ming, Xie Shendong and Wei Chuyang are hooking up too? They might as well rename the men's sports college the men's gay college!

He cursed under his breath as he edited those grating scenes:

[Yi Jiangling has just finished swimming 1,500 meters and is about to climb out of the pool. Yuan Ye throws the towel in his hand at his face and shouts, "Why are you getting out? Keep swimming!"]
