Nonhuman Home Renovation Specialist [Western Fantasy]

The story of an unlucky residential designer who gets tricked into saving another world by a crooked high priest. "I just want to get some fries, but you want to get me instead???" -- Fia, an unemployed residential designer, lands a job at an architectural design firm. The pay and benefits are great, but the project location is... Another world. Fia: Sure, why not? I just have to build a dragon's lair beneath a volcano, right? Pay 20% of the design fee up front and I'll have a proposal for you today! What? Construction is part of my job too? For extra pay? ...Fine! -- Fia thinks the hardest part of the job is dealing with the clients: That dragon's eye is bigger than her whole body, and it keeps saying it doesn't mind a human-dragon romance. (Fia: I mind, thanks.) That beautiful little merman's favorite food is humans, but he sings her mating songs every day. (Fia: No thanks, I'm not ready to die.) That pale, handsome master of the old castle holds a bright red drink and says the project can wait, why not try some of his collection of red wine? (Fia: Do I look like red wine to you?) That flower-bud of a client keeps twining around her bonelessly and asking her to taste what it has to offer. (Fia: No thanks. Eating a client is against the rules.) That car-sized spider gives Fia a sinister invitation to discuss architectural techniques together, saying it wants them to breed a new world. (Fia: Is that even allowed on TV?) That ghostly dark mage drags Fia into a tower so dark she can't see her own hand and tells her the darkness will make her happy. (Fia: Turn on the lights! Right now!) That muscular centaur scoops up Fia and runs off, saying that if she can calm his anger, he'll reluctantly agree to live in the house. (Fia: No, you can live wherever you want. Put me down!) -- This job is so perilous, but Fia still doesn't quit for just two reasons: First, the head of the firm pays her very well. Second, the head of the firm is very good-looking. -- To prevent the world's destruction, the Supreme High Priest finds a savior, at the cost of hundreds of priests' lives. The weary-eyed woman keeps repeating in her dreams, "Work, work, please give me a job as a residential designer!" For the sake of the world, the high priest gives her everything she wants. And the price is... -- Who's standing in her way? And who's saving him? Reader's guide: 1. Travel back and forth between a Western fantasy world and the real world, with most of the story taking place in the fantasy world. 2. Nonhuman clients: dragons, sea demons, vampires, tree spirits, spiders, dark mages, and centaurs. 3. A construction-magic golden finger that grows stronger as the story progresses. 4. Mary Sue, universally adored, and there is a couple (important!). Their identity is revealed at the end, so please don't spoil it. 5. The heroine isn't perfect. The story starts out lighthearted and grows darker, with twists and two endings. Aside from the heroine, the main characters are men (?). If that bothers you, read with caution. 6. [Most important: the author is extremely fragile and easily offended.] This is a scapegoat (QAQ). If you don't enjoy the story, it's best to leave directly.
