[Cool, Insomniac Manga Artist vs. Arrogant, Sharp-Tongued Attending Physician]
Shu Yu and Chen Hezhi were widely known as sworn enemies at Nancheng No. 1 High School.
Unlike ordinary childhood friends, they had disliked each other since before they were born.
For eighteen years, they had been at odds and constantly tripped each other up. Then, after graduating from high school, Shu Yu blossomed and experienced her first stirrings of love. A boy from the class next door confessed to her.
He was gentle and considerate, the complete opposite of Chen Hezhi, as different as heaven and earth.
At last, Chen Hezhi felt threatened for the first time. On a rainy night, he unusually stopped her as she was heading out and asked, "What do you like about that guy?"
"None of your business."
"Do you really hate me that much?" he asked with a frown.
"Of course. Stay away from me and quit getting in my way."
She had only said it offhandedly, but he took her seriously.

They met again years after college, at a hospital. Seeing Shu Yu's haggard face, he looked surprised, though his tone was as obnoxious as ever. "We haven't seen each other in years. How did you end up like this?"
But she only glanced at him with a stranger's cold, indifferent gaze. As she turned to leave, Chen Hezhi caught sight of the butterfly mark behind her ear. He had seen that very butterfly in his dreams.
The butterfly mark in his dreams had been blurry, like a butterfly he could never catch. Just like Shu Yu: he couldn't hold on to her, and she didn't like him.
But this time, he finally stopped running away and letting go so easily. Later, on a rainy night in a car, he brushed the loose hair from her ear and, at long last, gently kissed the butterfly mark behind it.
"The sleepless butterfly finally beats its wings and flies into the sunny, windy sky."
[Blurb to be revised]
Reading guide: Both leads are sexually inexperienced / one-on-one romance / sworn enemies to lovers / getting what they wished for / fiercely competitive and possessive
Notes: 1. The heroine's insomnia is not a mental illness.
2. Psychologists are not allowed to fall in love with their patients; this story does not involve that.
3. At first, they are genuine sworn enemies who truly can't stand each other. Both are sharp-tongued and hold grudges.
Theme: Have the courage to start over
