[Honkai: Star Rail] Miracles, Miracles, Perfectly Sane

Dan Heng was a little blue dragon who had sung the Iron Window Blues from the moment he was born. When he was exiled from the Luofu, he thought the sky was the limit and the sea was his to roam. But things did not go as planned. The shadows of his past followed him everywhere, and even his blood relatives were hunting him down.

He took things as they came and traveled aboard a spaceship to Gekolia, where an old man took him in. He got into a fight with someone in a public place and was sentenced to sweep the streets. Then his ruthless blood relatives came after him and killed the old man's child.

"We have to leave," Mr. Ryder said as he packed their things and took the two children away.

Dan Heng leaned back in his seat. He had no idea how long it would be before they could settle down.

Outside the window, someone deliberately attacked the spaceship, and dazzling fireworks burst across the galaxy.

After accidentally landing on a planet that had yet to connect with interstellar civilization, Dan Heng avenged Mr. Ryder and the others, then went to a small county town to work as a kitchen hand.

The county magistrate of Chen County was up to no good, framing him for someone else's death. The crown prince of the dynasty also brought along an employee from the Market Development Department of the Interastral Peace Corporation.

Tsk. A tiny town, but a big nest of trouble.

He hitched a ride off the planet aboard an Interastral Peace Corporation spaceship. Along the way, he accidentally entered a Memoria space and was swept into the memories of the High-Cloud Quintet while trying to escape.

Dan Heng, expressionless: Am I really never going to get away from Dan Feng in this lifetime?

After leaving the Memoria, the shadows of the past resurfaced. Seeing this person again, Dan Heng felt neither the frustration nor the pain of being hunted. He felt sorrow. The vibrant craftsman had become nothing more than a shell, driven by old memories.

To evade someone's pursuit, Dan Heng joined the Interastral Peace Corporation. But during one business trip, he ran into a madwoman who talked as if she knew him.

At some point, Dan Heng suddenly had a premonition that the person was about to catch up with him. He left the Interastral Peace Corporation and boarded a spaceship belonging to the Mournful Actors.

Dan Heng's voice lines after his exile:

About food 1: This strange-tasting stuff seems to have no purpose beyond filling one's stomach. Why are they (the prison guards) so enthusiastic about it? I don't understand.

About food 2: Hmm. (Eyes widen.) That was unexpected. If you want to try it, I recommend it with one-third sugar.

About antacids: This is... medicine? So medicine isn't only for easing pain and treating wounds. You can eat it, too. Hmm, it feels cool. That's a new experience.

About the first time I killed someone: That red-eyed guy suddenly charged out of the crowd and attacked me. His murderous intent was pure. He was after me. I counterattacked on instinct, and by the time I came to my senses, he was dead. He was unexpectedly weak.

About the first time I saved someone 1: This world is so colorful, and he's still so young. It would be a shame if he couldn't enjoy it to the fullest.

About the first time I saved someone 2: Why is he backing away? I'm not one of the people who hurt him. (Expressionlessly wipes the blood from his face, then forces a smile to comfort the child. The child runs even faster.)
