I can't do this anymore. I already submitted my real-name verification, but it was still blocked. How do I submit it a second time? TT
◎ The main pairing is Dr. Ratio (Veritas Ratio) x Aventurine (Kakavasha). Ratio/Aventurine is fixed, with no switching.
◎ Other pairings are involved. Currently: Yingfeng (Blade/Dan Heng), Liuheng, and Xunyi (expected in volume two).
◎ All characters will be written through the author's personal interpretation. Please correct me if anyone feels out of character.
◎ Plot-focused, but the plot moves a little slowly.
◎ There is a romance, but it's not the main focus. The author would rather watch them strategize and kick ass together than write them being lovey-dovey.
◎ Aventurine's perspective is primary, but there will be other perspectives besides Ratio's, and there will be times when they don't appear (such as chapter three).
There are many stream-of-consciousness titles, monologues, and descriptions. The author loves surrealist narration and time jumps, so parts that seem disconnected may not necessarily be errors. Everything serves the plot, with foreshadowing and hidden threads. Feel free to point out anything that seems inconsistent. It might be foreshadowing, or it might really be an error.
◎ Canon-divergent story. Currently includes the High-Cloud Quintet.
◎ The author has an account elsewhere and is posting this here as a backup, where it's easier to read. (I love the formatting here!)

Fly, fly, to a farther shore, where there are birds, flowers, the family you love, and the one who loves you.
◆
In the fourth week since Dr. Ratio disappeared, Aventurine received a new assignment from the IPC: find a Curio called The Book of Falsehoods.
According to the records, the book meticulously describes the history and customs of many civilizations, but it differs greatly from the facts, especially where history is concerned.
If it were merely the work of a fictional historian, it would not be called a Curio.
Its peculiarity lies in the fact that, despite its countless errors, it follows a rigorous internal logic. More than that, if one can distinguish truth from falsehood in its words and carefully unravel them, the perceptive will suddenly realize that the truth is hidden beneath the fiction: a "prophecy" that aligns with the course of history.
Time is proving the "fiction" to be real, and the world trembles as a result.
Of course, Aventurine accepted the assignment not only because he happened to be absent and knew nothing while his colleagues were passing the buck, leaving him no choice, but also for a few personal reasons...
He wasn't interested in that wildly fabricated book of prophecies. But the thick, gray-white plaster casing on the display screen, along with the familiar engravings on its cover, made his sharp mind go blank for a moment. When he came to, he had somehow accepted the assignment.
"Oh dear... Dr. Ratio, Dr. Ratio. It's all your fault that I took on this huge headache..."
"Well... even if I ask for a generous reward, surely you won't have the heart to refuse, Professor."
(Of course, saying that was one thing. When he actually saw the professor, he greeted him with delight, then went off on a company-funded vacation.)
Theme: Every farewell is for the sake of an even better reunion.
Placer gold, also called aventurine, teach you... It is indeed cold on the outside and hot on the inside.
Wow, sand gold has become Jing Yuan's idol hahaha
Cloud five... Will it win?
Eh? Is there actually a bird?
Bu Li's inner ghost can't be Qiong, right?
Oh my god, how come you write so well?! 😍

Do professors also have acquired diseases? (Nervous) The big letters are really beautiful. (Sigh again)
