I Killed a Prodigy and Went on the Run

[Plenty of chapters ready, regular updates guaranteed, new chapters at 8 p.m.]

Lin Mo'er was the illegitimate daughter of the Yun Sect's leader, born in the mortal world.

Everyone in the Yun Sect said that although the illegitimate daughter who had been brought back to the sect was lowborn and unfit for polite society, she knew her place and never overstepped.

They said she was kind and gentle, never complaining no matter how badly she was bullied. She continued to treat others sincerely and never schemed or plotted against anyone.

In short, she was truly pure and good.

Even the Yun Sect's young leader, once so cold and indifferent that he seemed inhuman, began to look after Lin Mo'er a little, no longer treating her as if she were invisible.

Everyone said that the illegitimate daughter's life had finally started to improve.

Until the day the Yun Sect's leader traveled to the secret realm of the Northern Desert.

No one knew that Lin Mo'er, whom everyone called pure and good, would join forces with a great demon and set fire to the Yun Sect from within and without! She also ran the young leader, a heaven-blessed prodigy, through with her sword, her attack so ruthless and merciless that it seemed long planned, leaving no room for escape.

Ning Zhan would never forget that day.

The girl, who had always been too shy even to smile, now had a fierce gleam in her eyes. The mountains ablaze were reflected in her clear pupils as she casually pulled the dagger from his chest.

She leaned down toward him as he gasped softly in a pool of blood and asked in a low voice:

“Ning Zhan, why aren't you dead yet?”

* The female lead is sweet on the outside, dark on the inside! She won't love any male characters at first!

* The female lead isn't actually an illegitimate daughter. Everything she does is for revenge.

* The female lead starts weak and grows strong (she's naturally gifted). Male leads and supporting male characters may ignore and use her early on, then go mad for her later. Expect melodrama :)

* My own take on cultivation

Sweet on the outside, dark on the inside x heaven-blessed prodigy brought down from his pedestal
