Chaoxi had the most ordinary wish: to coast through life in comfort and peace.
But things never go as planned. That is the greatest iron law of the world. She tried to escape this vicious cycle,
but she could never get away. Never.
She did not want to become the Demon King, but she did.
She did not want to kill, but she did.
She wanted freedom, but fate had already shackled her.
She wanted to spend her life with the one she loved, but no matter what she did, she could never reach him.
Nan Ming was a heaven-chosen war god in the making. For the sake of Chaoxi, a little demon snake, he was willing to give up every honor and privilege, becoming the laughingstock of the Six Realms. Later, after an investigator from the Celestial Realm visited the former war god many times, he compiled the story into a book. His explanation was that he regarded fame and fortune as dirt.
But the rumor in the Demon Realm was: "The war god can't bear to leave the Demon King for even a minute."
Investigator: He had never seen anyone try so hard to save face.
Theme: Obsession is like a silkworm's cocoon, invisibly following us through every cycle of reincarnation. Only by breaking free of it can we be reborn.
The writing style is really good, but the number of paragraphs seems to be too much (it has my own style, but there is an extra period and paragraph in jj, so there is a slight difference in reading)
