[Not going premium. I just want to fulfill a long-held wish. Ever since reading The Red River of Heaven 19 years ago, I've wanted to write a story about Ramesses. The companion story, Egypt's First Queen, has also been fully revised and won't go premium either.]
[Please support my upcoming story, Amazon Queen! It's about homesteading in the jungle in the early part, then men and women clashing as they pursue their ambitions in the later part. A large ensemble story about women's rise.]
She transmigrates and becomes a goddess overnight.
Basking in the breeze of Egypt's Eighteenth Dynasty, Cheng Feng makes up her mind: even with her favorite anime character standing right in front of her, she'll only enjoy the perks and won't get emotionally involved.
But six months later, she's helping this man, Ramesses, reform Egypt's tax laws, establish a legal code, develop foreign relations and the economy, and root out the dross of theology…
Cheng Feng: I think this man has put a spell on me.
Egyptian officials: Our king is the one you've led astray!!! He's giving up the throne to go wandering with you. What did we do to deserve inviting a goddess like you here?
Ramesses: Why are you yelling at my wife! I left you an heir, didn't I?
Seti: So I'm the poor kid who got stuck with the job, huh? (eye roll)
According to historical records, Ramesses I, who was not of royal blood, ascended the throne of the pharaohs and ruled for only one year and four months. This pharaoh worked tirelessly and, as he had hoped, united Upper and Lower Egypt, ushering in the prosperous Nineteenth Dynasty.
But no one knew that, as the body of a great pharaoh was buried in the Valley of the Kings, his story came to an end, while another love story, one that would cross a thousand years before its two lovers met, had only just begun…
Couple:
The cool-headed but warm-hearted explorer Cheng Feng (Maat) * the ambitious and famous pharaoh Ramesses I
Additional notes:
1. Told from the heroine's perspective. The story is based half on history and half on The Red River of Heaven. It begins with the death of Prince Sainasha, and the manga's plot plays only a small part.
2. Daily updates. Writing takes effort, and every reader's company gives me the motivation to keep going. I'm truly, truly grateful to all of you!
3. Upcoming story: Cleopatra Keeps Losing Her Men. There are plenty of men out there, so if one doesn't work out, just find another. Feel free to bookmark it if you're interested (#^.^#)~
Theme: Follow your heart and never regret it
I still remember something circulating on the Internet. Some people say that the world does not need men. Men say that if there are no men, who will protect women? Women will say that without men, she will not be afraid to sleep on the street. There will only be kind-hearted little sisters to cover her with quilts.
It's great. When I was reading the comics, I liked Ramses more than the male protagonist. In that era when signing in and checking in were not very popular, I would go to the post bar every day to check in.
Wow, I finally saw this CP in my lifetime.
The sky is red and there is power in the bank of the river? Hittite Kel can use wind, and the princess can use water. The protagonist must also consider this factor when doing things.
Ramses is so cool.
The female protagonist is a goddess, but the male protagonist's mother dares to talk about the female protagonist's breasts and butt. What does this mean? Isn't it a bit illogical? If the male protagonist's mother was a queen or queen mother and dared to do this, I might still find it a bit logical.
And the women in it are all very strong 💪
I'm jealous... I G... Don't even look good in clothes.
You stingy guy, don't you just look at me twice? As for leaving without saying goodbye?
Don't let me wear that fate. I'm a little afraid of Shura Field. After all, none of the men I like are good.
