After five years of cultivation at Lingxu Sect and three years of wandering the world, Yan Jinhuan dared say she'd never heard a confession this explosive...
The Ghost Domain had joined forces with a traitor to launch a surprise attack, breaching Lingxu Sect's mountain gate and leaving its people dead and wounded.
Thinking of the innocent villages below the mountain, Yan Jinhuan drew her sword and went down to save them. But she never expected to be branded a traitor colluding with the enemy as soon as she returned to the sect.
Her teachers glared at her. Her friends said nothing.
Yan Jinhuan: ...???
She never imagined that the village she'd just rescued would disappear in the blink of an eye.
All evidence that she'd saved anyone was gone, while the evidence against her was overwhelming.
The righteous immortals were about to execute her in public when, at the last moment, her taciturn senior sister stepped forward to speak on her behalf.
"Yan Jinhuan is not a traitor." Luo Chuji's voice remained calm and unhurried, yet her words struck Yan Jinhuan's heart like a heavy hammer.
The righteous sects were furious, and the elders of their own sect were shocked. "Chuji! Don't be a fool! Yan Jinhuan claimed she was going down the mountain to save people, but she was actually leading the Ghost Domain's fiends! I've already sent people to investigate. There is no Wuyou Village down there, despite what she claims!"
Luo Chuji remained expressionless, her words firm and clear. "This disciple has been to Wuyou Village."
"Three years ago, this disciple went down the mountain to look for her junior sister, and found her in Wuyou Village."
Yan Jinhuan: How come I don't remember that happening...
The elder was enraged. "You two aren't even close. Why were you looking for her?!"
What Luo Chuji said next left every righteous immortal present, Yan Jinhuan included, stunned and thunderstruck.
"This disciple loves her. I went to find her to tell her how I feel."
Later, after spending three dazed years in the Ghost Domain, Yan Jinhuan still couldn't figure out when her proud, aloof senior sister had fallen for her.
Had she said it in the heat of the moment to save her? Or was it a true feeling she'd kept buried in her heart, turning over and over without ever expressing it?
Yan Jinhuan decided she had to go back and get a clear answer.
Later, the closer Yan Jinhuan got to Luo Chuji, the more she realized that her confession hadn't been a lie.
Long ago, Luo Chuji had already been losing sleep, tormented by feelings she couldn't put into words.
Crying, she held the girl who kept pressing her for answers and refused to back down, then kissed her with all the restraint she could muster. "Huan'er, you were the one who started this with your senior sister."
Yan Jinhuan kissed her back, her heart steadfast. "Yes, Senior Sister. I love you too, willingly and wholeheartedly, with no desire to turn back."
Theme: Keep a clear conscience, and though our paths differ, we arrive together.
The writing is okay, there is room for improvement. Don't be so verbose and go round and round, just make it more concise, otherwise the plot will appear too complicated and jumpy.
I feel that the rhythm of the plot is a bit slow, I hope that some redundant content about the supporting characters can be reduced 😭
I'm happy that you joined V, but I'm afraid I don't have the money. Let me see it. See you next time! I'll read your new article next time o(≧
You don't know triangle, I thought Shang and Xie were CPs
Yan Jinhuan is extremely sharp sometimes, but at critical moments he is extremely dull, alas.
Is this done or not? 😭 Why can't I understand the rest?
Ah ah ah ah ah ah senior sister took the initiative 😭 😭 I thought it was Xiao Yan serving senior sister for the first time, but Xiao Yan still wasn't good enough hahaha
OMG, OMG I will update two chapters at a time, am I dreaming? [Collapse] [Wake up] [Click to open the article] [Finished] [Empty] [Want to read the next chapter] [Lie in bed and twist into a sandworm]
What a heroic princess...
So speechless. . . . . . It's all a misunderstanding of being short-tongued. Do other people have the same restrictions as Senior Sister? Misunderstandings come and go in dozens of chapters, and it turns out that they are all the result of a few people not talking.
