I Transmigrated into a Book as the Villain, So I'll Cling to the Protagonist

This work is contracted with FQ and will be published on FQ later. If you're feeling too weak to even lean on a wall, come read this.

A cool and aloof on the outside, laid-back and goofy beauty of a master (bottom) x a white-lotus type in the early chapters who later turns into a dark, obsessive, maximum-level green tea schemer (top)

Gu Shi transmigrated into a book. That would have been bad enough, but he actually became Gu Qinghui, the vicious master from the original novel. Luckily, he had a System, but...

Gu Shi: System, what kind of tasks are these? How am I supposed to get on the protagonist's good side?

System: Host, you're the villain! I'm a villain System!

Gu Shi: I'm a grown man with dignity. I'd rather die than do these tasks. I'm going to cling to the protagonist and reach the pinnacle of life.

System: Warning, warning. Host detected behaving out of character. Ten life points will be deducted.

Gu Shi: I'm a grown man with dignity, but I can be flexible when I have to. I'd be happy to work like a horse for him, as long as... you take a look at my life points.

System: Sure, sure.

Later...

Gu Shi: "System, don't you have anything to say about how far the plot has deviated?"

System: "How should I know? I'll log off and ask the Supreme God."

Gu Shi: "Don't go, don't go! What am I supposed to do if you leave?"

Theme: Don't pick up strangers on a whim
