The World Is Falling Apart, and I'm Here to Patch It Up

To Help Me Remember (For When Following Updates Goes Badly)

I'll add more gradually. I need to learn from my mistakes, TAT. One-, two-, and five-star ratings are overrepresented, so there are fewer two-star picks. Most of the three-star novels here aren't truly worth three stars. (Very few were added before they were complete.)

Fanfiction Recommendations

A good story deserves to be seen by everyone!

No Romance

Authors Whose Stories Are Best Read Once Complete

Stories with very slow updates, or a history of starting strong then declining, having bad endings, or being abandoned. I'll wait until they're complete, then check them and their reviews before deciding whether to read. I'll add more gradually (ones I haven't blacklisted).

Not My Taste 2

Not my cup of tea, but maybe I’ll like it someday

Upright Values, Great Stories, For My Own Reading (Mostly No Romance)

The essentials: protagonists with strong moral principles, a smooth and logical plot, and solid writing (at the very least, readable). Beautiful-but-tragic characters, passionate stories, and heartwarming tales. Some have real angst, some only pretend.

A Fun Reading Stash

Some books I've been following for a long time. At least, they started off well.
