Unbearable

Complete draft written in advance, so read with confidence.

# Cool-faced but softhearted talent-show mentor x deceptively sweet, calculating trainee

# Older woman, younger man

Blurb One:

On Tao Shuang's thirty-third birthday, her husband of three years cheated on her.

She went straight to court to file for divorce.

Everyone thought she hadn't considered the consequences and had lost her mind, bewitched by a twenty-three-year-old trainee she'd just met.

Her friend asked, “Don't you think he's like a male fox spirit?”

Tao Shuang retorted, “He's as docile as a sheep.”

Her friend: “...”

Tao Shuang had always thought so.

Until one night, Zhuang Shaoyi cornered her in an empty practice room.

His fingertips brushed the corner of her lips. With a low laugh, he shed every trace of his feigned innocence.

“Big sis, so this is what you like.”

“If I'd known, I wouldn't have pretended.”

Blurb Two:

Tao Shuang is ten years older than Zhuang Shaoyi. Outsiders say she's an old cow eating young grass, getting the better deal.

Every time, Zhuang Shaoyi says, “I'm the one who pursued her.”

Once, Tao Shuang teased him with the same line.

Zhuang Shaoyi held her close. “That's nonsense.”

Tao Shuang: “Then did you fall for me because of my looks?”

“No,” he said. “I've been plotting this for a long time.”

I was always looking for excuses to get close to you. Only later did I realize that Zhuang Shaoyi's only selfish desire had always been you.

Everyone says I'm doing it on purpose, but I wish the whole world knew that every step Zhuang Shaoyi takes toward Tao Shuang is entirely of his own free will.
