The Major General and His Beta Love Rival

I'm not writing the previous one anymore~ If that bothers you, feel free to remove it from your collection.

The Empire's S-rank Alpha Major General Shen Guanfu is ambushed and captured by a third-party faction. After a hundred failed rescue attempts, the Empire takes an unconventional route and hires the strongest mercenary, Shan Ling, at an exorbitant price to save him.

Rumor has it that Shan Ling is incredibly powerful. Though a Beta, he has astonishing looks. He's most famous for repeatedly sneaking into the Empire's Chu family estate to meet a certain S-rank Omega. Unfortunately, that person is Shen Guanfu's fiance.

Being rescued by his romantic rival is humiliating for Shen Guanfu, but he has to bow his head when he's at someone else's mercy. During their week-long escape together, Shen Guanfu unexpectedly discovers that Shan Ling bears a striking resemblance to the Omega he spent one night with many years ago.

Shan Ling takes a big job because he needs the money. Only after getting the target out does he realize he's taken on a ticking bomb.

The kind that could blow every one of his secrets sky-high.

Shan Ling: :)

An uncontrollable pheromone disorder VS a human-shaped suppressor.

This really is a hard choice.

Cool, bewitching, strong, tragic beauty Beta uke (for now) x scheming, possessive, competitive, big-bad-wolf Alpha seme

I just want to snack on some evenly matched relationship angst~
