Recently, pained howls could be heard coming from Qingmian Forest every night around midnight.
Soon, a notice was posted on the bulletin board: To all the good people of Qingmian City, a suspected Gold-rank beast has recently appeared in Qingmian Forest. Remember, if there's a reason to go near it, don't. If there's no reason, stay even farther away!!!
The City Lord's Call: A Gold-rank beast has reportedly appeared near Qingmian City. We hereby summon five esteemed Spirit Tamers to come to our aid. Compensation is negotiable.
Mu Ci accepted the summons, wondering to herself when a Gold-rank beast had shown up nearby.
Before long, she realized that the so-called "Gold-rank beast" was apparently her and her contracted spirits.
Mu Ci: ?
She was only taking her hungry little ones out to find food at night. That was all...
The beasts: Aaaah! You're the one bringing a bunch of little demons even fiercer than beasts! %#@! Please, just go as far away as you can!!!
She tries to survive in a world where vicious beasts are everywhere and strange plants can be picked at will...
Only to accidentally become a legendary figure worshipped and admired by countless people.

Reader's guide:
◆Does this count as a summoning and beast-taming story?
◆The protagonist's contracted spirits come from The Classic of Mountains and Seas and The Classic of Strange Beasts.
◆Spirit Tamers' talents are all much the same, serving as a medium for summoning contracted spirits. Their spirits generally come from the same world, so different Tamers may have the same contracted spirit.
◆I'll add more if I think of anything...
